It's not the throttle cable sticking - tiny amount of slack when idling. I've also sprayed the innards of the TB and the butterfly valve with carb cleaner. I've looked thru the archives and THINK it could be the Throttle Position Sensor.

The sensor sits on one end of the throttle plate shaft and the actuator sits on the other. The throttle sends a signal to move the actuator and the sensor verifies the movement.

For a civic the CT (close throttle) and WOT (wide open throttle) position voltage values are as under: CT 0.48 WOT 0.45 TPS should send out smooth voltages in between the CT and WOT position. There is a seperate thread on this forum for caliberation of TPS sensor try to search and read that.

I am getting code P0122 (throttle/Pedal postition sensor A Circuit Low input) and a TCS light. When i try to clear the code idle goes up a little bit and then check engine light comes right back on with idle returning to the normal position.
